Hawaii (State Trip- May 2011)

Alrighty, here are some pictures from Hawaii from May, 2011. We didn't take a lot of ourselves, but we got plenty of the scenery, which was phenomenal! The picture of my little crab friend was one of my favorites! The picture with the oyster and the pearls is from when we each picked out an oyster to get the pearl out of and mine had one black pearl, which we got turned into a ring, and Eric picked one that had TWO beautiful white pearl babies in it. The lady said it meant we were going to have twins! (I sure hope so- I'd love to have twins! :) ) We went to Pearl Harbor as well, and Eric was so thrilled, so we got lots of pictures of him! ;) Our trip to Hawaii was short, but so much fun and I would definitely recommend going at least once!

Recent Happenings for the Duncans!

So Eric and I are both college graduates now- Hooray! It is a little strange, because I still feel like I just graduated high school a year ago, although it has been 4.

I have been absent from the blogging world for the past (nearly) year, so I think it is time for a little update!

Eric and I moved from Mesa to San Tan Valley.. aka the land of Far Far Away, but I really like it out here! Other than moving and finishing school, we haven't been up to too much. I quit my job (finally:)) at UoP this year and Eric finished his one year Apple job and is moving on to a more career-type job with Vanguard Financial. He is very excited and really likes the company, from what he's seen. He starts June 18th, so we have a few weeks to just hang out together, which I am stoked about! :)

I am very proud of Eric, and so happy for him to have this time off. Since he got back from his mission in March of 2009, he has been going to school full-time and working as well without any breaks. He started late start spring classes at MCC and took every summer, fall, winter, and spring session since then until he graduated. All the while, he was working part-time, and when he'd have one week off from school in between his spring, summer, fall, and winter classes, he'd work full-time.. He seriously hasn't had a break, so I am just so happy for him to be able to have a summer vacation for once and a short break from working since I doubt this will happen again until he retires! :)

I have been doing a whole lot of nothing since quitting my job. I thought I had another job lined up when I quit, but ended up "not having the experience they originally thought I had" and sent me on my way, jobless. So I have been applying for jobs in the health care field and have been hanging out with family and selling things on Craigslist for fun. :) I am still doing choreography for my mom's choirs, so that keeps me pretty busy as well.

Well that is all I can think of right now as far as an update is concerned. :)

Until next year... ;) hahahaha just kidding ....(maybe)
